At Bright Beginnings we are huge advocates of sunscreen (all year round!) Our parents often ask us which sunscreens we recommend for their families. We love sunscreen options that are quick and easy to apply, because lets face it, your child is usually half way out the door when you are trying to apply their sunscreen!
Continuing with the theme of easy application, we always love spray on sunscreens- but don't forget to rub it in! We also love sunscreen sticks- like the Neutrogena one in the photo. Neutrogena has lots of options of waterproof sunscreen sticks too!
Hands down our favorite sunscreen for you and your child when you are out and about is the Color Science powder sunscreen. Why didn't this exist 10 years ago?! It is a mineral based powder with SPF up to 50 in it depending which one you choose. It comes in a variety of shades and you can easily apply it over your make up or on your kids since it's super light! You don't even feel like it's there. It's great for coverage your face, neck, chest and ears!
Our favorite Mommy approved face sunscreen is an fantastic product called Avene Haute Protection SPF 50. It's a tinted, 100% mineral, cream to powder formula that has a perfect tint as a base for make up for just by itself.
