I just wanted to give a shout to Jessie and Nancy for making Henry’s return to school this week so easy and stress-free! They spent all the time I needed going over his schedule and what to bring, and I’ve gotten lots of much-needed pictures in tadpoles every day since he started. The reason I love working for Bright Beginnings is the wonderful co-workers who all work together. I love watching the children’s faces when you teach them something new each day. The parents are very friendly and contribute to the school by volunteering and participating. The owner, Kathe Petchel, keeps us up to date with staff development training, and supports us by providing great classroom materials and a really good curriculum! We are so excited that our buildings all recently had beautiful renovations and we have all new furniture and equipment.

I liked the training because it was very fun and interactive. It’s so important to take time to grow as a team and individually too. We got to learn more about our company and make plans for our specific location and classroom as well as school year goals with the leadership. And we had the opportunity to spend quality time with our coworkers which helps us understand each other better. I like Bright Beginnings Preschool because it’s a great place to work. It has also given me the opportunity to grow professionally but also work at a fun place- and because of my co-workers, we have a great time.

At the training, I liked how we sat with teachers from other schools. I also liked how we had testimonials and ideas shared from teachers at all schools on topics like Morning Meeting and Outdoor Classroom. I love working for Bright Beginnings because children ages 3-5 are learning SO many new concepts and developing socially/emotionally. I love being a part of that and writing and incorporating new curriculum to spark their interest.
