Seasoned Bread Crumb Recipe

Seasoned Bread Crumbs

Have a pick eater who doesn’t like the crust? Don’t let the ends go to waste! Use every morsel of your bread with this under 1 minute homemade Italian breadcrumb recipe. Use our homemade Italian breadcrumbs for yummy chicken tenders, fish bites, meat balls, meatloaf or fry up some farmers market zucchini or avocado bites!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of any bread (We used Sara Lee Classic White Bread)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pinches of Sea Salt (we love Malden Sea Salt)

Directions

  1. Using a Vitamix, blender or food processor, blend the bread until fine.
  2. Add spices. Mix until blended.

Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze up to 6 months
